Hyacinthoides non-scripta - Asparagaceae

Hyacinthoides non-scripta, Asparagaceae - Botaniquarium.eu

~   English Bluebell   ~

A typical sight in British woodlands during spring, where it forms dense carpets of intense blue amongst traditionally coppiced hazel shrubs. This is the true English Bluebell, usually darker than the invasive Spanish Bluebell.

Eucomis bicolor - Asparagaceae

~   PINEAPPLE LILY   ~

This bulbous perennial enhances the exotic look in your garden. It has very fleshy leaves and stunning flowers in late summer. Best planted in large groups for a lush effect.

Ophiopogon planiscapus 'Nigrescens' - Asparagaceae

~   BLACK MONDO   ~

Mostly mistaken for a grass, this plant is actually a close relative to Convallaria sp. - Lily of the Valley. It forms a dense carpet of black foliage, a perfect and robust groundcover that will grow in pretty much any location.
